Hunger Games

So for shits and giggles, I've been working on a personal project illustrating the Hunger Games - only gotten so far as the sketch stage because I can't seem to stop drawing Katniss in trees. Also, it's difficult coming up with a character template/design for her that's tough, yet vulnerable - delicate, yet strong.

Just realized I never posted that poster for the Lincoln :) Lots of text for a small space - initially I was told there would be half that!

New Art

Having a small show at the Lincoln Theater in DC at the beginning of August - not sure yet of the date of the reception. I'll post facebook invites when I know.

But here are some of the pieces in the show! The theme is Myths & Legends. There will be two more pieces, but I uh...haven't done them yet, as I am in the process of moving closer to work and in with my wonderful boyfriend, Andy.

Sorry for the low quality of the scans, I miss the large scanner in the senior studios.
