Holy moly, it's a post!

So, basically I haven't been up to much, art-wise, outside of work (which I can't post - the toy world is weirdly similar to the video game world in that if I posted it, I bet I'd be fired)....till this past week, when I got a phone call from an aspiring author whom Allan (buying him dinner) recommended me too.

I have a freelance job! I'm doing 12 page illustrations + cover and layout design for an educational children's book type thingy. And, here's a sketch of the first page illo and the characters that repeat throughout the book.

this is the in-progress of the last page I have left for Illustrated Book - once I'm done with this, all that's left is to do the layouts for the spreads and the 'glossary' page of plants and objects.
